We all love the idea of bringing our personal landscape alive with the sights and sounds of water. But how do you reconnect with nature if you have a small backyard or space next your patio?

Here is a list of our top 10 favorite water features for small spaces. Whether you’re looking for a small fountain, waterfall or waterwall, there’s something for every space and budget.

#1 For around $4,000, this Mushroom Fountain is a perfect way to add some height to this pondless waterfall in York, PA.

#2 Our Basalt Fountains are the perfect way to way to add a splash of water to a small garden area.  These drilled natural stone fountains are available in custom configurations from single stones to large groupings. The triple basalt installation, shown here in Baltimore, MD, can be installed for around $5,000. Of course, if you have a little more space, more basalt stones can be added to create a bigger impression like the installation at the UPMC campus in York, PA, pictured below.

#3 Waterwalls are a great way to add the sight and sound of water when you are looking for a cleaner and simpler aesthetic. Our smaller waterwall projects, starting around 3 feet wide and 2 feet tall, cost around $4,000. Keep in mind that the taller the wall, the larger the splash zone needs to be at the base to capture the recirculating water. The options are as unlimited as your imagination and budget.

You may be surprised to know that we love designing waterwalls for inside too. Here is a custom installation designed by Splash Supply Co. for a beautiful home in Mechanicsburg, PA.
