Our summer pond care services are short visits to check on filters and pumps, take care of plants and check water quality. This service is perfect for frequent outdoor entertainers, pond owners who have to leave for vacation and anyone who just wants a hassle-free summer.
A pond in summer faces unique challenges, from increased algae growth to fluctuating oxygen levels. Proactive care during the hottest months helps prevent common seasonal issues, including algae blooms and pond turnover in summer, which can stress fish and cloud water quickly. Preventative maintenance is also an important part of our Summer Maintenance Plans.
Summer pond care services are available a la carte or as part of our Pond & Waterfall Maintenance Plans.
Here's what we do during your
Summer Service Visits ...
- Empty debris net/basket
- Clean skimmer and filter mats
- Disconnect and clean pump
- Check underwater lights and replace as needed*
- Trim and remove dead plants
- Fertilize waterlilies
- Cover liner and foam loose rockls
*Cost of new lights will be billed separately if required.
