RETURN POLICY

Thank you for supporting our small business! We hope you enjoy your purchase.

Splash Supply Company accepts returns of most hard goods* for a full refund up to 30 calendar days after purchase. Returned items must be in like-new condition in the original packaging, and free of dirt, water and visible wear. Returns of visibly used products, or items missing their original packaging, may be refused or subject to a 20% restocking fee.

We may, at our discretion, offer store credit for items returned after 30 days on a case-by-case basis.

Exceptions

  • Custom-cut items – including but not limited to liner, underlayment, pipe and bulk filter material – cannot be returned for any reason. All sales are final.
  • Fish, plants and other live goods are subject to different return policies and are not included in the hard goods policy listed above. Please see the card you were given at checkout for details, or ask a Splash associate.
  • We may refuse returns of certain discontinued or clearance items.

Warranties

Many of our products carry a manufacturer’s warranty. If an item stops operating as expected within the warranty period listed on the packaging, please bring it back to Splash for testing, along with the original receipt if possible. If we determine that the product is eligible for a warranty, a replacement will be offered. The warranty on replacement items begins on the purchase date of the original product, not on the date of replacement.

Warranties cover only the original/primary owner. They do not cover alteration, theft, loss and/or unreasonable use of products. Warranties may also be denied if we are unable to verify proof of purchase, the warranty is expired, the product has been discontinued, or the returned item is found to be in good working condition.

7-Day Fish Guarantee

Congratulations on your new finned friends! We’ve been gently taking care of your fish, and they were happy and healthy in our tanks. We know you’ll love them as much as we did. You are responsible for making sure your pond is ready for new fish. Carefully following the care instructions on the back of the card you receive at checkout will help them continue to thrive.

If you experience fish loss within 7 days of purchase, and we determine, at our discretion, that your pond is ready for new fish, we may offer credit toward new fish (no refunds). In the event of fish loss, please do the following:

  • Bring a water sample from your pond to our retail store during open hours for testing.
  • Take a picture of the fish, as well as your pond and filtration system. Do not bring the fish back to the store.
  • If your new fish looks unhappy after being introduced to your pond, please let us know right away: 717-751-2108, ext. 2.

1-Year Plant Guarantee

Congratulations on your new plant! Our Aquatic Plant Experts have lovingly grown, cared for and talked to your plants from the beginning, making sure they’re happy and healthy by the time they reach your pond. We know you’ll love them as much as we did.

Carefully following the care instructions on your plants’ tags will help them continue to thrive. If your plant dies within one year of purchase, and we determine, at our discretion, that you have followed all care instructions, we may offer credit toward a new plant (no refunds).

To claim your credit, please bring the following items with you to Splash:

  • The dead plant
  • Your receipt
  • The plant’s original tag
  • A picture of your pond, with the area where the plant was planted clearly visible
