Koi pond, turtle pond, fountains … why choose just one?

This project in Columbia included a full range of features to turn this partially wooded backyard into a one-of-a-kind retreat. A set of waterfalls spills down the tree-covered hillside, splashing into a pond filled with large, gorgeous koi. Next to this main pond, a smaller pond surrounded by plexiglass provides a safe and escape-proof home for a few lucky turtles.

Garden accents abound in this outdoor oasis, including a set of triple basalt fountains in the main pond and a frog spitter in the turtle pond. Splash also installed a sprawling stone patio next to the ponds, two sets of boulder steps on the property and a unique stone fountain in front of the home.
